U.S. drone strike kills Kabul airport planner. One of the ISIS-K “planner” was apparently killed Friday when a drone missile struck the his car. The strike was carried out in the Nangarhar Province of Afghanistan. Guess this was to show the U.S. ability to carry our over the horizon strikes.
In retaliation for the Kabul airport suicide attack, the U.S. conducted a drone strike on an ISIS-K “planner”. Why use the quotes around planner? Well it just seems a little to convenient that the Biden Administration was able to identify someone that quickly. With all the outcry from the American public and from Biden’s own party just seems a little off to me. The retaliatory strike comes just 2 days after 13 U.S. service members were murdered by an ISIS-K suicide bomber along with over 130 Afghan civilians.
Calls for accountability and resignations were flooding the news and social media. Many Republicans were calling on President Biden to resign. Seen as a failure in leadership many want the President to resign. Some are suggesting impeachment. Biden has taken a lot of heat for this mess in Afghanistan. The Administration was not prepared for the rapid collapse of the Afghan government and the inability of the Afghan military to defend against the Taliban.
Biden is just not capable
One can only imagine the flack and pressure the Democrats are under now. It is now apparent that the Biden Administration has failed with foreign policy objectives, again. Even Robert Gates, Obama’s Defense Secretary said that Biden has “been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades.” Even in 2020 Obama said “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to fuck things up” I cannot believe this was the Democrats had to run for President and received more votes than Obama. It just does not add up.
