Gas stove insanity has made its way into politics. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) considering banning gas stoves nationwide. Will the madness ever end?
Democrat Sen. Cory Booker and Democrat Rep. Don Beyer are the….sorry I have to say this, they are the morons that got the ball rolling on this. Claiming gas stoves are a cumulative burden on minority and low income homes. Are these jokers going to pay the difference from gas to electric, hell no they will not. Never mind that gas is roughly 20 percent cheaper to run than electric stoves.
A “study” by the International Journal of Environmental Research (IJER) used data from other studies to draw their conclusions. In turn IJER works for the Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI) a “research” institute that claims it is “an independent, non-partisan, nonprofit organization of experts across disciplines working to accelerate the clean energy transition and improve lives.” (From RMI’s about page) RMI’s goal is to have a zero carbon future.
Look I am all about have alternative energies, when they make sense and are affordable to everyone. It kills me that the famous mouthpieces for the “carbon neutral future” are the biggest hypocrites, owning multiple homes, flying around in private jets have multiple yachts. I say keep working on it. Do not try to force this shit down our throats. When the time is right and it’s available and cheap sure start talking more about it. Do not try and scare the public into something it’s not ready for or cannot afford.
