I’m feeling a little bitchy today. WTF Facebook, I left your platform a few years ago and decided to get back on so that my Podcast/Blog has a Facebook page. Before I even finish getting set up I get suspended. All I have managed to post, which is not really anything is a profile pic and started the “page” for said Podcast/Blog.
Community standards
What are these “Community Standards” that I am violating? After reading through them I cannot see what standard I have violated. I have not posted anything inflammatory as I haven’t even finished setting up my profile or page. I did not try to imitate anyone, deceive anyone. The only way to dispute my suspension is to upload a photo? WTF is that going to do? You do not even let a person write an explanation which would be difficult, as you do not have the courtesy to let me know what the violation is? Funniest part is I get suspended WHILE I am in the help center trying to follow all the steps correctly.
Maybe you have my website/podcast blacklisted because you do not agree with what I talk/write about. You continually censor people, violate their trust. and have generally poor business practices when it comes to privacy. Facebook started as something really cool but as thousands leave your platform for the others you really should release your grip and not make things so difficult. It would not surprise me to see your platform disappear into the dark abyss as other platforms have.
Control
It seems you really want a tight grip on what content people should see and post. Like most mainstream media organizations you are really trying to control the narrative. I sent Facebook a message on Twitter, part of my feeling bitchy today, I have no illusion of getting a response back.
I wonder how many other people encounter this? If you have let me know, interested to hear your story.
