We have all seen the numbers about the surge in crime across the country. Which understandably concerns the majority of law abiding citizens. One official in the DA’s office in San Francisco has attributed this fear to racism, that’s right racism. If you fear crime and voice your opinion about it you are racist. So does that mean that big chain stores that close the doors to their businesses are racist too? That is right folks, fear of crime is now racist, along with well……almost everything according to liberals.
Kate Chatfield, a senior director in far-left District Attorney Chesa Boudin’s office contributes this fear to nothing but racism. Responding to tweets of people fear for their safety Chatfield tweeted “Husbands are scared for their wives’ —-your reminder that the ‘crime surge’ crowd shares the same ideology as The Birth of a Nation”. In case you have not heard of this movie, here is a link about the movie Birth of a Nation Chatfield referenced.I wish I could say that I am shocked by this statement but I am not. It is the ONLY go to response when the far left does not have a leg to stand on. Just goes to show the mentality of the far left when they have zero rational responses to an issue. Interestingly Chatfield locked her Twitter account after lots of backlash for her outlandish and unfounded tweet.
California’s far left government wonders why businesses are leaving and closing up stores. They are tired of being taken advantage of with high taxes and no consequences for thefts like the latest robbery caught on camera. A Neiman Marcus was robbed in San Francisco by a gang of thieves who grabbed items off racks and smashed display cases. The San Francisco Chronicle reported earlier that Walgreens closed 17 stores in the San Francisco in the last five years. Walgreens was spending 35 times more on security at San Francisco stores than any other location in the United States.
What could possibly have to contributed to the crime surge in California. Take a look at 2014’s California Proposition 47. It basically give carte blanche to commit some crimes with little fear of prosecution or if prosecuted very small penalties. So California has seen a dramatic rise in crime and the CA govt. seems to scratch their heads and wonder…gee I wonder what can be causing this?
I see it everyday, I walk my dog along the river path and in the morning without fail, there are clothes tags & shoe boxes from clothing stores across the street littering the benches and sidewalk. Basically people have nothing to loose by stealing from stores in California.
