President Biden’s Afghan presser is obviously a sham. His remarks about the withdrawal are almost comical. While watching I had thoughts of Baghdad Bob from 2003. He claims that the U.S. has not lost credibility around the world. He also states no Americans are being stopped by Taliban trying to get to the airport.
The biggest laugh is that we have not lost credibility around the world. What fantasy land is Biden and the administration living in? You just abandoned an entire country and doomed them to terrorist rule. His reports that Americans are not being stopped by the Taliban is ridiculous!
Reports from various news agencies and videos show the exact opposite! Takes some balls to outright lie to the American public and the world stage. So to me it’s clear President Biden’s Afghan presser is obviously a sham. As for protecting the Afghans that assisted the U.S. you have failed them. Numerous reports of Afghan being rounded up and executed is something Biden cannot hide from. I guess he is going with the idea , if I lie enough it will become truth.
More preplanned questions
This presser was nothing more than smoke and mirrors. It’s blatantly obvious that questions posed to him were in my opinion, preplanned, all five of them. He already knows who he is going to call on. Then in turn those reporters are reading their questions form their phones. This has become pretty much the norm when it comes to President Biden taking questions. The question if Biden is being “handled” is quite clear. We have all heard the numerous times he says “They don’t want me taking questions”, “I have list of reporters to call on”. Biden’s cognitive abilities are really apparent. His staff has to prep him for a long time before he speaks to reporters and rarely takes impromptu questions on the fly. When he has, disaster strikes to the embarrassment of the entire administration. Hell, even when he is prepped it’s an embarrassment.
