Broken Promises President Biden is not ending the year well in the polls. He continues to break promises made during the campaign.

The biggest promise that I noticed was broken was his promise to “Shut down COVID”. This week he stated that, “There is no federal solution. This gets solved at the state level” (Broken promise #1) OK, if there is no federal solution then how about rescinding all those unconstitutional federal mandates you enacted. You know, the ones you said you would not do (Broken promise #2)

BIDEN HAS FAILED TO DELIVER ON NUMEROUS 100-DAY PROMISES

• Biden promised to pressure China within his first 100 days over its fossil fuel use.
  • Biden failed to stand up to heavy polluter China at the recent climate summit.
• Biden said he would persuade the “major carbon-emitting nations of the world” to “mak[e] more ambitious national pledges” within his first 100 days.
  • Major polluters India and China did not provide new emissions targets. 
• Biden promised to surge humanitarian resources to the border in his first 100 days.
  • Instead, Biden created a humanitarian crisis.
• Biden broke his 100-day promise to “codify protections” regarding the treatment of migrant children.
• Biden promised to “end prolonged detention” in his first 100 days.
  • Because of Biden’s border crisis, migrant children are still being held in detention facilities longer than the 72-hour limit. 
• Biden promised he would make changes to the asylum system to address the “horrifying ecosystem of violence and exploitation” on the border within his first 100 days.
  • Biden’s failed immigration policies have done the exact opposite, leading to a “boom time for gangs,” traffickers, and smugglers. 
• Biden promised that migrant children would be treated with “compassion and sensitivity” in his first 100 days.
  • In fact, hundreds of children can be found being jammed into pods meant for fewer than 50 at one of Biden’s border facilities.
• Biden claimed he would create a commission to make housing a right, but he has failed to do so.
• Biden committed to creating a national police oversight commission in the first 100 days of his presidency.
  • Once elected he ditched this campaign pledge.
• Biden said he would order the FBI to issue a report on gun background checks, but he has failed to do so.
• Biden said his administration would produce recommendations to restructure the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), but they have failed to do so.
• There have been no “enforceable” emission commitments regarding shipping and aviation despite promising this within the first 100 days. 

BIDEN HAS ALREADY BROKEN PROMISES THAT GO BEYOND THE 100-DAY MARK

• Biden promised to work with Republicans, yet has talked to Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin more than he has talked to Republican leaders Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy since taking office.
• While Biden promised “unity,” he has put forward a partisan stimulus plan and accused Republicans of “neanderthal thinking.”
• On the campaign trail, Biden said he would confront China over coronavirus, but since taking office he has still “not had that conversation with President Xi.” 
• Despite promising to “get tough on China,” Biden has kowtowed to the Chinese as president.
• Despite promising to be the “most pro-union president,” on day one Biden cancelled the Keystone XL pipeline, killing 8,000 union jobs.
  • Biden vowed to help fossil fuel workers transition to green jobs, but Keystone XL workers are still struggling months after being laid-off.
• Biden promised to not ban fracking, but he has since blocked new drilling on federal lands and his Energy Secretary suggested a full fracking ban is still a possibility.
• Despite promising $2,000 stimulus checks, Biden’s $1.9 trillion stimulus only provided $1,400 checks.
• Biden promised that anyone making under $400,000 will not pay a penny more in taxes, but his infrastructure plan includes a tax hike on American businesses that would hit the middle class hard.
• Biden promised to be the “partner” of the nation’s governors in the fight against the coronavirus, but as president Biden has skipped the weekly coronavirus coordinating calls with governors, instead letting the man who orchestrated a coverup of COVID nursing home deaths – New York Governor Andrew Cuomo – lead them.
• Bided pledged to “defend the truth and to defeat the lies,” but he has spent his presidency spreading lies about Georgia’s voting bill and said he would “strongly support” an MLB Georgia boycott.

Liberal Media does not care

Of course the liberal media will look the other way and give him a pass. After all the Trump bashing and raising up Biden as the savior of all mankind, they will never admit their mistake. Just like any story that makes Democrats/Liberals/Communists look bad, they will never run it.

What will the new year bring? How many more promises will President Biden break. Only time will tell, I would venture a guess of many more to come. I think history will show that President Biden will be forever known as the Broken Promises President or maybe even the Puppet President.
