Child predator Ghislaine Maxwell guilty! Well it looks like there is a little justice in the world. She faces 65 years in prison for her roll in trafficking underage girls.
The jury took 6 days to bring in the verdict. Now convicted on 5 of the 6 counts she faces 65 years in prison. “A unanimous jury has found Ghislaine Maxwell guilty of one of the worst crimes imaginable – facilitating and participating in the sexual abuse of children,” said U.S. Attorney for the Southern District Damian Williams. “Crimes that she committed with her long-time partner and co-conspirator, Jeffrey Epstein. The road to justice has been far too long. But, today, justice has been done.”
Ms. Maxwell certainly deserves what she gets. I will never understand how another human being to treat children this way. Personally I hope she gets the maximum sentence under the law. Her actions go against everything that is supposed to be decent in human beings.
What about the clients???
With Child predator Ghislaine Maxwell guilty the next big issue will be, will the govt ever go after the elite clients that Maxwell and Epstein serviced? I am sure they are many around the world who are sweating out what will come next. It would be a travesty of justice if the clients get away with it. These rich clients need to be investigated and prosecuted as well. Now I am not saying just start throwing names out there. I do not want people who may not have engaged in these illicit activities to be smeared just for knowing Maxwell and Epstein. However if they did not engage in these activities but knew about it and said nothing, in my mind they are just as guilty for allowing it to continue.
Will Ghislaine Maxwell cooperate with authorities and provide names of clients who engaged in this evil act? Rumors are flying that Epstein’s record is going to be sealed following the verdict. I do not have much hope that the clients will be held accountable. My guess is that there are to many powerful people stopping this from happening. Hopefully there will enough public outcry to force the govt to go after clients. Again I doubt this will happen as my guess is there are too many people in govt involved and will make sure names never reach the light of day. What makes me think this, the liberal media barely covered the trial. It has to make one wonder, how many liberal media types would be named???? Of course I hope I am wrong and everyone involved faces justice.
