Trump was indicted by a political DA. DA Bragg is a Soros backed far left politician. The charges brought against Trump are far reaching. With crowds waiting from both sides of the issue, Trump arrived at the NYC courthouse to hear the sealed indictment against him. Naturally, he pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
The charges
A total of 34 charges were brought against Trump by the politically motivated Manhattan District Attorney. The same DA reduced felony charges to misdemeanors in over half of criminal cases in New York City. Bragg campaigned on criminal justice reform. Which I guess means letting felons roam the streets of New York City to commit more crimes. As we all know, NCY has become a cesspool of crime over the last few years and is just getting worse now that criminals know they will most likely not see any jail time. Accountability is a thing of the past in the city that never sleeps.
The charges brought against Trump are 11 counts related to invoices from former lawyer Cohen. 11 counts from checks written by Trump to reimburse Cohen. Finally 12 counts of falsifying business records. The full indictment is below. If you want an explanation of charges, the NYT spells it out.
What lies ahead
The next hearing is scheduled for December 4, 2023. Conveniently just in time for the next election cycle to start picking up steam. Trump held a press conference at Mar-a-Lago to express his disgust with what is occurring.
“I never thought anything like this could happen in America. I never thought it could happen,” Trump said Tuesday night. “The only crime that I have committed is to fearlessly defending our nation from those who seek to destroy it.”

When you have the President of the United States making statements that they will do all they can to prevent Donald Trump from running, people should be nervous. Are the Democrats now going to go after any person running for office that does not fall in line with their beliefs? If we were to indict politicians for misdemeanors and bump them up to felony charges, there would only be a handful left to run the country. Imagine if a Republican District Attorney filed charges against Hilary Clinton, OMG the firestorm it would cause. If you want to talk about a real insurrection just try that.
Road ahead
It is going to be an uphill battle for President Trump. He has the entire Federal Government against him, local governments against him, and the mainstream media against him. I wonder what tactics that left will use to try and prevent him from running in 2024.
